Policies

New Members

A Cutter sponsors someone they feel would make a good member. A Cutter can only sponsor one person at a time.  The recruit has at least 3 months to consistently hang out weekly (Wed. or Sun.). The recruit must plan and lead a ride during these 3 months (Wed. or Sun.). It is the sponsors responsibility to let the recruit know what is expected of them and events going on. It is also the sponsors responsibility to introduce the recruit to the members of the gang.

There will be open discussion of the sponsorship on this website that will be private and deleted after voting. Voting will be held at monthy meetings. Sponsorship starts on the day the recruit is sponsored and is at the discretion of the sponsor when the vote should be taken after the 3 month period. The dates are also the sponsor’s responsibility to keep track of. There needs to be 90% yes vote to be in. After yes vote the sponsor decides where, when, how the cut-in shall happen.

It is the sponsor’s responsibility to make sure the new recruit has a MA account.

Old Members

If someone hasn’t been hanging out regularly, doesn’t come to meetings, doesn’t participate online and in general seems disinterested in membership they can be voted out.  If 85% of the people voting think that member should be retired they will be retired both on MopedArmy.com and on PuddleCutters.net.  Voting is held at monthlymeetings.

    Hello,
I’m lookin to sell my 1976 honda hobbit (yellow).
Darn thing actually runs good. Needs new tires probably because everything on it is stock so they have tread but old age cracks on the sides.
Toss a bid at me or if you have questions send em by email.
    I live in Boise Idaho.

Want to find the rider of the Puegeot that broke his moped’s crankshaft on the SFRC run to Oregon City. Please have him send me an email so that I can hook him up to a story about the ride that contains a photo of him on his bike. Thanks.
